Phoebe Ho
founder | COMMUNITY PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
Phoebe obtained her Creative Arts Therapy Certification from the New School in Manhattan. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. Since 2007, Phoebe has been involved in creating programs for families within the Chinese immigrant community that have children and youth with special needs. Phoebe also has experience as an art specialist in early education settings, and had spent five years facilitating community programs at the Children’s Museum of the Arts. Phoebe is passionate about making connections through visual arts. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys photography, arts and crafts, and running.
Jasmine Ebron
Executive Director | Art therapist
Jasmine received her BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Philosophy from Georgia State University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy at New York University in 2023. Driven by a passion for art advocacy and accessibility, she has worked across a range of communities and nonprofit organizations, offering art therapy, art education, and professional workshops. Before graduate school, she completed a two-year AmeriCorps ArtistYear fellowship, using art education to support underserved students in local schools. She also partnered with the Josephine Herrick Project, teaching photography in communities with limited access to the arts and creating space for self-expression, empowerment, and connection. At the heart of Jasmine’s work is a deep commitment to using art as a tool for healing, belonging, and transformation—making creativity accessible to all.
Desmond Kwan
Family & Operations Coordinator | blue hat vocational training coordinator
Desmond received his Mentoring Supervision Certification from Big Brothers & Big Sisters of New York City. Effectively trilingual, Desmond is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and was among the first in NYC to be involved in the training and delivery of Caregiver Skills Training for Families of Children with Developmental Disorders or Delays - a curriculum developed by the World Health Organization and Autism Speaks. Desmond has been with CAA since its inception in 2015, and besides his role as Family Coordinator, also facilitates the Blue Hat Vocational Training Program, where youth and young adults with special needs acquire lifeskills through baking and culinary arts. Outside of CAA, Desmond assists in operations and logistics at Chinese Evangel Mission Church. In his free time, Desmond enjoys cooking, camping, watching movies, and listening to music.
Kenny Li
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION | IT CONSULTANT
Kenny obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor of Science in Network Administration, as well as Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing from Western Governor University. Kenny initially began volunteering with CAA in 2015, and now works closely with its leadership in finance and administrative functions. He is also an IT consultant for the organization. Besides his work at CAA, Kenny is employed at Nomura Securities, and has worked in a variety of fields, including accounting, office administration, sound engineering, and music. He was the lead guitarist in the band, Crystal Tear, that has a professionally-released album and has performed throughout the country. In his spare time, Kenny enjoys traveling the world, embracing the outdoors, and running. Kenny has run over ten marathons and aspires to run in all seven continents of the world.
Jennifer Wong
Music Therapist | Creative Arts therapy program coordinator
Jennifer is a board-certified music therapist with a Master of Arts in Music Therapy and a Bachelor of Music with honors in Vocal Performance, both from New York University. She has worked with diverse individuals across the lifespan and completed internships at renowned institutions such as the Mount Sinai Health System and NewYork-Presbyterian. Originally from Hong Kong, Jennifer is fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. She plays the piano, flute, guitar, and the traditional Chinese instrument, guzheng. Beyond music therapy, she is a passionate vocalist and offers individual singing and piano lessons. Jennifer is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring, expressing, and reaching their full potential. She embraces creativity and the joy of play, and is committed to fostering meaningful connections in a culturally humble space that celebrates each person’s unique journey.
Cameron Pollard
Administrative assistant
Cameron is a dedicated French hornist and freelancer with training from the Manhattan School of Music and UNC School of the Arts. He has performed with ensembles like the Salisbury Symphony, Western Piedmont Symphony, and the Grammy-winning New York Youth Symphony, including notable performances at Carnegie Hall. Cameron has studied with Michelle Baker, Dr. Maria Serkin, and Frank Portone, and participated in the 1st International Chamber Music Academy Festival in Ochenshausen. Passionate about community service and care, he enjoys bringing music to hospital patients and serves as an administrative assistant at the Center for All Abilities.

Maddelena Kaji

Maddelena is a recent graduate of NYU Gallatin, where she created her own major of Visual Culture Studies with a minor in Italian. She has worked in the fashion industry for a handful of years at brands large and small. Her experience is mostly in branding, merchandising, and licensing, but she also loves to sew her own clothing. She teaches sewing at other studios in New York and believes everyone can learn to sew! As our Project A Facilitator, Maddelena helps members to develop their own personal brand identities, design products, and sell their creations in order to prepare students for real-world tasks and demands, and all of the rewards and benefits that come with them!”
