Project A Volunteer Interest
Project A’s mission is to provide specialized education for neurodiverse individuals, teaching valuable skills that will prepare them to work within the fashion and retail industry. From sewing and garment construction, to sales and customer service, Project A plans to develop different pathways that will lead to meaningful employment throughout social-impact womenswear brand Alivia, its partnering organization, and other brands in the future.
Volunteers who can operate a sewing machine and are passionate about Project A's mission are needed to teach sewing skills and provide 1:1 guidance to our program participants in a small group setting.
Frequency and length of commitment: Weekly on Fridays, 1:00 - 3:00pm OR 3:00 - 5:00pm. The program runs throughout the year, and volunteers who can commit to at least half a year are preferred.
